Visa to France

My girlfriend is a Thai national who has been living in the UK for 7 yrs (separated from English husband 2 yrs ago). I want to take her to Europe on holiday starting in France and wanted to know what the visa requirements were.
Hello! Well it depends if the Thai national is a British Citizen through marrying an EU Citizen. If she is not an EU Citizen which to me doesn't sound like she is an EU Citizen, she will certainly need a Schengen Visa this is valid throughout the European Union for up to 90 days. There will be a fee that comes along with the application of a Schengen Visa normally payed in EUR - the currency of the 15 country Eurozone. Unfortunately the European Union has not opened up to to many countries to allow Reciprocal Visa Free Access. EU Reciprocity Visa Free is only available to most Western Passports. Thailand among most countries around the world are included in Annex 1 which means Visas required by all no exceptions.
